Duxford Scrumpy Company

A small, local cider maker to me here in Cambridge. Quite hard to get hold of (in fact I only tend to get it once a year at the Mill Road winter fair). Sadly no website nor online presence.

Golden, slightly hazy with a fair amount of sediment and very fizzy - be careful mine fobbed up all over the shop on opening :-) Nice clean fresh apple nose with a slight sulfite tang Dry slightly oaken apple flavour but with only a medium amount of tannin. Slight vanilla and a nice dryish aftertaste. Not a bad little cider if you're looking for dry without a huge amount of tannin.
